    roller motors

Did Ford put roller motors in 87GM? Pushrods are 6.25". Was told this identifies roller motor. Looking to install 280HR cam. Do I need to use Crane retrofit lifters with vertical anti rotation bars?

86 and up car 5.0's had roller lifters..........be careful of cam selection if using fuel injection and running a speed density computer.......i chose to run a stock ho cam with 1.72 roller rockers and a mark 7 ecm
