    Trans dip stick is gone!

    I'm not sure where it went but its gone. I just bought the fluids and filter and found out I didnt have a dip stick. I called around and nobody has em and Ford said they dont make them anymore.

    Where can I get it??

    Junk yard... or if you are lucky, Dorman may carry a AOD dipstick.

            not sure how many he has actually. I know one is spoken for on a project but I'm not sure if there are any spares besides that. Do you need just the dipstick, or is the tube missing as well?

                  My guess is one of my favorite hiding spots, either on top of the radiator or in the cowl area where the wipers park.
