1991 Lincoln Mark VII ECM

Hey all, I'm looking for a '90, '91 or '92 Mark VII ecm.
Anyone have one? I need a '91 for sure, 92 should work, and possibly a '90 I need this era for what I'm planning to do with my car...

This is the A9P computer, right? If so... good luck finding a cheap one. There isn't one on eBay cheaper than $125.00. A9P and A9L computers are big money. I had one a few years back a friend gave me, I never needed it so I sold it, and well.... now I want it because I plan on doing a MAF conversion later on.

I think its the A9L, but 30 bucks is a steal. If was farther along with the 351 I would be all over that

I found a '92 but the part number was for an '89 if the '91 + used the same ecm, then it probably wouldn't matter then. Matt, can you confirm this for me?

IIRC 89 and up are all D9S

I think the 1992 may use a different program code. I seem to recall they went to 3 digit error codes in 92, but I've never bothered to confirm that, nor have I ever checked the program code on a 92 to see if its actually different.

I'm looking for one that would give the 3 digit codes since I'm pretty sure that's when you could look at all of the sensor readings through a scan tool.

maybe if I ever get off my ass and check my 91 for codes I could tell you if its 2 or 3 digits. Believe it or not, in the almost 2 years I've owned it, I have never actually scanned it.

Isn't all OBDI 2 digit and all OBDII 3-digit? for Fords anyway?
Also you can read sensor data for OBDI also... I can't remember if it was my 85 or 91 but I found a non-responsive TPS that way.

that's what I was thinking, beings HO's and 351's share the same firing order, and it has the integrated cruise, no harm of getting it and sitting on it until I do get the motor.

No, but a lot of the code numbers are the same for the OBD-II trouble codes of today. Mom's '94 has 3 digit codes. Which is OBD-I technically. But they were getting ready for the OBD-II crossover which only took 2 years after that. I've heard rumors that some of the '95 vics had the OBD-II 16 pin connector under the dash.
