    testing injectors?

    Getting a set of 19lbers for an impending HO conversion...I certainly trust the source (Pete) but I'm curious to see how one tests injectors, making sure they're all flowing at the same rate?


    Would I need a specialized shop to do this for me? If it's a big expensive process, I don't really care to do it.

    I think you can test them with an ohm meter to see if they are duds (find out how and I'll test them for you) but there's no good way to flow test them without sending them off to a shop that does that.

        well, I'm not sure, lol. They probably are, but they came out of a junkyard car, I've never run them. If you wind up with a dud, I'll send you replacements.
        I put 8 used unknown injectors in mine when i did the SEFI swap and they were all fine, as far as I can tell... it runs like a top!

          I know of a few aeros and whales in junkyards here too, i think they're the 19lb injectors as well. i could get one of those easily enough if one is a dud
