switching from 2.73gears to 3.55 gears in my 96 mgm with the aode, which speedometer gear do i need to get?

do we have the 8 tooth or 7 tooth gears? im assuming its the 8 tooth.....

I'm thinking whatever gear will show you going only 50 when you're really going 80, so you have a solid excuse for the cop who pulls you over!

that actually happened to me and didn't get me out of the ticket :( 75 in a 55

before i found out my speedo was so off, I actually had a cop follow me for a mile going 20 over the speed limit and out of nowhere he just turned off and let me go.
