    Rear axle

    Hello there everyone!!!

I'm going to change the oil and gasket of my differential. Due to a minor leak any way I know my car a 95 town car doesn't have a drain plug, but I do know on how to change the oil but where do I put the new oil in???

On the other side I seen a plug in the axle I think it was a star or hex key

I want to make sure that's the refill plug before I pull things apart.

there should be a bolt high on the driver side of the differential housing on the drive shaft side. That is the fill hole.

Nope it should just be 3/8 drive. Just get a 3/8 ratchet with and extension and no socket and the square drive should fit right in.

yep, square drive. There is actually a specific square head socket that you're supposed to use, but nobody owns one and I've never seen one in person. World+dog uses an extension.
