I passed up an alleged Ford 429PI car when I was young and I regret it. The only consolation is that I was taking the guy's word that it was legit. I try to tell myself that it was probably just a plain old 429 4V and not really an ex cop car. At the time I did not know how to tell the difference.

My dad was a mechanic for the local police station. He claims the best cars were '67 Plymouths with a 440. After these, the city got '71 LTD's with the 351C-2V. He said they were complete dogs compared to the Plymouths.

I was able to drive that car about 11 years ago when it had a different owner in Missouri. Its really a NICE car with a lot of power! Still looks good too.
