Taking Amtrak from Minot to Phil. and back could be done for under $400 (includes a pass through Pitts. so I could see an old friend). 36hrs one way. Wow. This is . . . good news. I'd love to take S.U., but at 169K miles, wear and tear, plus fuel costs, I don't know if I could get it done. Hmm, at least now I know that I have an option.
