Might as well start this since it's already December. When do you people want to do this? Same time frame as previous years? Speak up. Be heard. Be naked.

By the time you're 20, birthdays aren't really as hyped up as they used to be when you were younger.

God willing, I'll be in on Friday evening to leave Sunday morn. Might bring a friend. Might bring some Great Lakes beer. Might drive a Camry.
Just kidding :). Anyone want a ride in from centerpoints I-80 & I-271 or I-90 & I-77 let me know, you can park at the former, and if you're out further needing a ride just ask....
I do smoke cigarettes if that's a concern for a ride. Other passengers may do as they wish, I don't care.
Is there going to be a road train down I-80? And it there anything specific I should bring? Looking forward to it :)

I had a big daddy long leg and a cricket in my tent last year. Creeped me out when I found them crawling/hopping around inside the tent while I was getting ready to go to sleep. It does get moist inside from the dew on the outside but I like the experience....though it can be a bit scary because you are pretty far away from the house and close to the woods.

All that construction last year was due to the diamond cutting project on 81. This year their should be no problems going south. The problems will be north bound below wilkes barre if they start on that side

looking at time off from work (I have the time to use)
need spousal approval though.
Also need to figure out how much it'll cost me gas wise.
If I come in the 88, is there hope of getting the suspension bushings changed out? (this would be without the wife)
If I come in the 93, is there hope of a j-mod/soft part rebuild? (this would be with the wife)
the main issue right now is my cousin's wedding and how much ends up getting spent that weekend.
I may ponder it this year and show up next year though... or maybe to SoF at least. I definitely want to meet some of you mangs.

What bushings? And do you have money? For alignment and stuff afterwards...
UCA, LCA, rear CAs... yeah... all of them except the shocks.
Yeah, I would have the monies for an alignment afterwards (and to pay folks for their time working on my car) if I do come. I would bring the parts with (ES poly stuffs).
The only real thing I need the help with is the front control arms, but might as well do the lot of it if I can.
I would not make the trip if I would not have the money to pay folks for their work.

yeah... using Tremont, PA, Google drops you on the tracks in Tremont. I don't think that's the right spot.

100 years ago these were populated thriving communities
newtown, zerbe and swatara all had their own post offices
technically skippyville is in zerbe........the end of the driveway is swatara.......the post office foundation is still there in the woods

I can hook you up on the j-mod deal. I'm in. Lets make it happen. I can pre-drill a separator plate from my AODE so all we have to do is swap plates (and maybe filter, if you want). Shit, we can do my Marauder's as well; since we're at it. Just message me what exactly you want, shift wise. we can go from there.

I'd love to program the vic to shift later than it does. the OD at 35mph BS wastes the torque converter.

You can, it's called an O/D off button. :p The torque converter isn't what I'd be worried about...

Can you do one for a 4R75W? If so, I'm in too!

wife's DD it is. took the shudder starting up again for her to start using that button. I already use it. The fact that you HAVE to use it is what pisses me off. Ford should have been smarter about that. I'd have no problem if the car had 3.73 or higher gears... but for 2.73 gears... 35 is NOT OD territory.

It is when the engineers are trying to squeeze out every MPG. You want hideous tranny programming? Come drive my car with a 6 speed and FE tuned to the max.

J-mod day it is. I have to make a junkyard run shortly, I'll make a few AODE plates, and a few 4R70W plates. The gaskets work for both. Can we start a head count so I can have everything drilled, de-burred, and the appropriate gaskets on hand?

I'm in, I'll be bringing my own fluid as well. AMSoil all the way
Will a 4R70W plate work on a 4R75W?

No reason why it wouldn't. They only changed the gear ratio, i think. Anyways, we'll compare the two, just to make sure everything is okee kabee before installation. I'll bring the bits down just incase.
Sweedish. Lets make this work. If we're going to to transmission stuff, I'd like to make the mess all at once. I'm stoked. It's in the schedule now!!

You can also go for a quick drive in the Tank to see the difference in just boring out the separator plate as opposed to modding the springs as well.

at this point... I'm leaning towards the vic since the 88 seems to be cropping up issues. so Lincolnmania can strike me from the repairs on Thursday list and SVT98t can add me to the AODE j-mod list.
so Ryan: what day will the modding go down? Need to know to adjust my time off if needed.
