    Shocks

I think it's getting close to the time to replace the shocks on my 91 Gm. The ride is starting to float more than usual. Any ideas on the best shocks for the big boxes?

      coilovers? please do tell.

I use KYBs on the front (GR-2), and Air shocks on the back, but I think im going to ditch the air shocks now that I have cargo coils, for KYBs..

Good shocks for performance...but they are pretty firm.

        shocks

I use Variable assist cargo coils for both front and rear shocks. Makes the ride nice, a little on the stiffer side and they look pretty cool too

Summit has a coil -over kit. you have a crossmember that welds between the frame rails

Speedway Motors has all the componets to do it , with springs up to 750# might go with the bilstines

(check them out for 5.0 parts i got a set of 4340 forged connecting rods from them for $80 the same ones Ford wants over $300 for
iI can do all the welding required and we have a very competent machine shop right next to us at work

also going to try to use Wilwood Forged Dynalite 4-piston calipers up front it will cost under $400 for the calipers, rotor hats, and rotors. thats if i can modify the 92+spindle to accept the brackets

Are you doing this on the box, or the 97?

I like the look of the Gabriel shock. Don't know if they have them in Canada though.
