Hi - I'm putting an aftermarket Kenwood in my GS. I bought a harness adapter but the pinout marking does not match what I found on the internet for the GS. My biggest concern is that the harness adapter has no pins 3 or 4. Are there any experts here to help me out? See the attached table below which compares the listed pins versus my harness. Help Help!!!!!! Thanks, Dave

you don't need pins 3 or 4. neither will serve any function for an aftermarket radio and usually not even a stock radio.

I hooked this up today and it worked properly for a 2001 MGM GS AM/FM/Cassette stock radio swap with a Kenwood unit. Again the pinout is different than is shown on the P71 site.Originally posted by condor655 View PostComment
