    what 351 in 75 montego?

Is it a C or W? There's a 75 montego sedan for sale like two blocks away from me for a hundred dollars, for parts.

Supposedly has 27k on it but around here on a car that old the body is probably fucked beyond repair, but if it's got a good 351 in it then a hundred bucks sounds good to me.

          They are right, it's either a 351W or a 351/400M.

It's easy to tell them apart, the 351W is smaller, looks like a 5.0 also, the 351W has the top radiator hose water outlet going in from the front of the intake like a 302/5.0., at an angle.

The 351/400 the water outlet for the top radiator hose comes straight up.
And the valve covers look much larger than the 'W' engine.
