very interesting car. Hell, the engine and early-ltd trim parts are probably worth the grand.

85 4 door 351 Civi Crown Victoria - Summer daily driver, sleeper in the making, and wildly inappropriate autocross machine
160KMs 600cfm holley, shorty headers, 2.5" catted exhaust, 255/295 tires, cop shocks, cop swaybars, underdrive pulley, 2.73L gears.
waiting for install: 3.27's, Poly bushings, boxed rear arms, 2500 stall converter, ported e7's, etc

no I'm talking about how they got it to fit, while keeping the stock hood.

If you have to fabricate motor mounts, its relatively easy lower the motor as needed it in order to clear the hood, provided it doesn't have to go way down. I'd mostly be curious what motor mount parts were used, and how it was attached to the frame.

Not really. I'm not really the big block type. My smallblock is bad enough on fuel, I don't need a 429 with a carb to feed.

Being from this area, I'd say the car has to be pretty rusty.

If I'm going to make a big block box, I'll start with my clean tudor.
