mustang oil pan in 302 colony park '85?

hi to all. i want to make my 302 colony park little bit faster and powerful . as for it i bought some performance parts and start a rebuilding of my engine. also i want to change my oil pan to the racing pan (such as moroso, kevko, canton etc.) but the most of them are made for stangs and other fox platform cars. does it fits to my panther? and what types of sump locations can i use? thank you.

Long tubes don't fit on panthers. Power steering is stock. And will bolt up to the new engine. Use all of your stock accessories on your build, and you'll have no problem with fitment issues.

they are actually mid-length headers, and i had to modify them to fit. as far as i know they are the only set that will fit a panther, others have tried to make a set and i dont think anyone has came through yet. the power steering is not a problem, but the shifter linkage is.

as i see there are many pans with front sump on ebay, but very few pans with dual sumps or rear sump. why? and as i know our cars needs rear or dual sumps pans?

Its not the pump that makes the steering the way it is. Its the steering gear itself. A later model one will help with the "granny's wheelchair" feeling.

as i see your canton oil pan is more deeper than stock. as for it i have a question - which is the lowest point in the bottom of your engine compartment - a new oil pan or not?

the oil pan is in no danger unless your car is really lowered or you insist on jumping it over stuff. im almost certain that the exhaust is lower
