Very easy. There is line of screws on the bottom of the dash pad, and there is also one on each end of it. Pull it out and there are your speakers.

There are none on mine. I used to remove mine almost weekly at one time.

Did you have screws there at one time? I know I definitely have screws there.

The Towncar has them in the defrost vents too. But yeah, its not that bad to get out, just a little awkward. You'll also probably need a stubby screwdriver and/or one of those Z shaped offset screwdrivers to get the speakers out.

shove paper towel in the vents before you unscrew them so they won't fall in the defrost vent if they do fall. I have ripped a dash apart before to get the screws out.

if you don't have really stable hands or a magnetic screwdriver, replacing the deforst screws is a friggin pita
