    Ambient temp sensor?

My car is a 2000 Grand Marquis. The ambient temp. sensor is shot. (reading 127 F in MN in February)
Have any of you changed this out? Where is it located? (On my Oldsmobile it was dead center at the bottom of the core support) I haven't had time to go look under the car. Since it is cold out, I thought I would ask to minimize my time under the car.
It is for the Heat/AC. Currently I have to turn the temp all the way up to get heat and at that point it blasts me out of the car.

Its somewhere in front of the radiator. I think its just about dead center behind the grille actually.

This happened in my truck last year. Outside temp was reading 130 all the time. I disconnected the battery for an hour, and it worked fine after that.

Is yours reading way off, or is it stuck at 127?

It is right smacked dab in the middle in front of the radiator.
            I changed it today.
            The new sensor works great.
            Thanks for the help!
