    Grand Marquis Wheel Porn

Went looking for tires to upgrade the Michelin OEM's, still had lots of life on them, but they kind of suck. Performance tires in the 235/55/17 size came out to over $1,000 with all the bull involved. I looked on eBay, and a brand new set of GT500's, with F1 Supercar tires, were only $990 shipped. The handling is another world. I thought the ride might be a bit harsh with 255/40/18 on the front, but ride is actually better. The staggered look is just too cool. What an upgrade

They are 255/45/ZR18 fronts and 285/40/ZR18 rears. When I picked them up from the freight company, I thought "no way will this fit on the rear". I was wrong. Lots of clearance. The TPS sensors in them were recognized right away by the PCM, as that was my only other concern. The steering feels heavier, but more like the new GTO's that have driven than weird. With the suspension mods... perfection.
