    AODE j-mod help???

I would love to perform the jmod on my 1993 GMQ, which I believe has the aode (please correct me if im wrong). In an article i read it says the jmod is for both the 4r70w and the aode, but does not specify if there are differences in the procedure and/or what they are. All it says is the article from http://www.tccoa.com/articles/tranny...on/index.shtml can be used as an outline to perform the jmod on an aode, however the link is appears to be specifically for the 4r70w. So would I be safe following exactly what the article says for the 4r70w?

The exact same thing. I did it on my 93 MGM. But I did just the separator plate. i did not remove the accumulator springs. Just drilling out the plate was a huge improvement over stock. There are 3 main differences in between the two transmissions:
    -Wide-gears
    -longer tailshaft housing
    - electrical connectors.

I'm in such a hurry, I probably forgot one. I'll be back later mang....

About 3/4 the way down this page is my drilled out separator plate:
