    never seen a lid like that one

    1986 lincoln towncar signature series. 5.0 HO with thumper performance ported e7 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, warm air intake, 65mm throttle body, 1/2" intake spacer, ported intakes, 3.73 rear with trac lock, 98-02 front brake conversion, 92-97 rear disc conversion, 1" rear swaybar, 1 3/16" front swaybar, 16" wheels and tires, loud ass stereo system, badass cb, best time to date 15.94 at 87 mph. lots of mods in the works 221.8 rwhp 278 rwt
    2006 Lincoln Town Car Signature. Stock for now
    1989 Ford F-250 4x4 much much more to come, sefi converted so far.
    1986 Toyota pickup with LSC wheels and 225/60/16 tires.
    2008 Hyundai Elantra future Revcon toad
    1987 TriBurner and 1986 Alaska stokers keeping me warm. (and some pesky oil heat)

      was it me or were the back seats different from the front? That car is a mess.. that's my opinion

        I think the deck lid is cool , it looks like the car has been cobbled together though ,as mentioned ...different seats and it looks like an 89 grille and headlight trim too

          I've seen that trunk lid before. They also used to do that on certain 70s Lincoln Limos. I doubt that was a factory option.

            Anyone know if those Trip Computer buttons on the dash are the same ones as the Mark VI uses? I need a new set for aesthetic reasons.

              as far as i know, the keyboard is only different in the 88-89 town cars. the rest retain the clearish buttons. im sure anyone with a 1980-87 TC can confirm this.

                I like the rear tail lights, they look so much better than the later years in my opinion. Just has a cool look

                  and that decklid was a factory option. same as the true spoke chrome wire wheels. just on of them rare expensive things you could ad.

                    I knew they looked the same, just not if the electrical connections on the backside where different or not.

                    Another Towncar part to add to my junkyard list.
