    8000 miles? *skeptical*

still a nice car though... even if it's 108K.

I'd check the tires (road test) for balance though... those wire wheels are all aluminum and will bend if it sat for a long time. My mark is proof.

I believe that is a Stars and Stripes edition. It could be 8k miles, those seats are awful damn nice, but its got visible rust in unhappy spots. I see a big crusty forming around the door hinges on the A pillar and some spots on the wheel wells. I'd hate to think whats growing under the lower rocker trim. Looks like it was driven in the winter at least a few times to me

White leather seems like something for people who don't actually get dirty ever, and drive the car only occasionally. These are the same people who can have white carpet in their homes. No kids, no pets, no shoes, and a live-in housekeeper. In her spare time, the housekeeper would also be detailing the Lincoln obviously.

lol this is true. my brothers towncar was bought here in ontario but, lived its life in naples, FL. with 90K miles on it, the seats were mint. now, since 2003, the seats have taken a shit kicking. now we must wait for a town car with red seats to arive to the wreckers lol

THAT'S WHAT THAT TOWNCAR IS WE'VE BEEN WORKING ON.

We have been working on one of those out of our garge, keeping it running for someone. How rare are those? The one we have been working on is low mileage and rust free.

I've heard rumor that there were 2 per state, for a total of 100. I don't know if this is actually truth but I can tell you they are not common. 87 was a low production year anyway.

still, not a terribly large production run. I know a couple people with the "Ford Bible", I'll see if I can get total production figures for the various 87 Towncar models.
