Advanced Search...Am I Doing It Wrong...?

Before the site's upgrade...when I did advanced searching for items, I could narrow it down to the subject/posts that would most likey give me an answer. However, now when I do an advanced search, it searches the entire forum and I cannot find what I'm looking for because the results are so vast.

For example, I searched for "rear end gear oil" and got 5 pages worth of stuff, anywhere from "Noob question", "what heats brakes", to "underdrive pulleys." If I could just search the "Drivetrain/Chassis" forum I could get closer to what I'm searching for. Is there a better way to search? Am I searching wrong? :confused:

hm, must be a glitch. If you go to advanced search, you get 2 tabs. One says 'single content type' and the other one says 'multiple content types'. Click the multiple one, then go back to single. You'll get an option box that lets you pick specific forums. Not sure whats up with that, I hadn't tried using it recently.

I tried that trick and it works! Thanks! That will help me find my next problem...no throttle mounts on the HO upgrade EGR spacer I bought...
