    Steering Wheel radio controls

Is there any reason why I can't take steering wheel radio control system from a 97TC and put it in a 97CV?

Has anybody done this or even given it any thought?

Should I expect a few miles of complicated wiring or a simple plug and play set up?

Of course I would be using the steering wheel or maybe even the whole steering column
    from the TC.

Any advice would be most appreciated!

you'd probably need to swap the clockspring but the column is probably the same. The harness between the clockspring and the radio unit would also need to be installed. not sure if the towncar has the trunk mounted radio control unit, or if its all in the dash. may need to swap out the radio so the wheel control provisions are there.
