    I am officially a 4.6 owner now,

    i was checking my tranny fluid today after draining the converter and i notice a small pinhole leak in my coolant crossover where the temp. sensor meets the crossover.

            lets $800 for the bullet intake and then a couple hundred more to get it to work, or $200 for the standard and put the $900 into a set of heads for the 5.8

                  Congrats on the initiation into the new age problems era! but, Hey that car is almost 9 years old now, those 4.6L are good motors no matter what anybody says.

                        Oh that sux. Too bad that warranty on the intake manifolds doesn't apply to your car. Good luck getting it fixed.

                            Yeah, but that would work, no coolant passages as you said. Its a lousy idea where its under heat and pressure from the cooling system. It would do a nice job of helping keep the air cooler as it enters the engine for a more dense charge.

                            Hmm, I wonder what dry ice packed around the upper intake would do for performance.....
