ScottFest costs money/takes things to run, so anything is appriciated.
Of course, you'll want to bring a tent/etc if you plan on camping.
Anything else?

Money for Skippyvilles' primary residents Scott and Skipp never hurt.

Stuff like paper plates & towels, plastic cutlery, cups, TP etc are good too. I usually clean out my cupboards and bring what I got.
Also snacks, drinks, booze, strippers...
People can bring $$ donations in the form of panther parts they don't need too.

Don't forget the gas money.
And wherever I travel, I always bring along extra cash. You never know when you might need it, or when you may want to buy something.

That's true and of got three 50 hour weeks so as long as I don't go crazy with money ill be good I'm figuring on it probably costing me $200-$300 for gas being its a 425 mile one way journey

Since we spend so much time outside...sunscreen and hats and whatnot for us pale people! I know I usually have enough sunscreen to share too.
Cameras and batteries to document all the awesomeness!

If your car is in good running order and you keep it in the 60-70mph range, you can expect 20-25mpg if you don't hit much stop-and-go traffic. I get 300 miles to a tank more often than not.

That's about what I get - skippyville is about 325 miles from me, and I just barely make it on one tank. I could probably do better since the SEFI conversion if I stuck closer to the speed limit and didn't pass people. I did the same mpg with CFI, but that was driving like grandpa...

Think I'm gonna bring some corn this year, if theres a way to cook it in sufficient quantity. The NJ corn has been excellent this year.

I'm bringing nothing, because I'm coming a week early, but I'm gonna leave money with Phil so he can pick up the soft pretzels that everyone loves, and possibly some pasta salad my mom will make, and maybe some sausages, rolls, and extra condiments :).

coming a week Eairly to finally put your rear in the car lol? And exhaust and rear control arm bushings. Hopefully it won't fight me as bad as the Boulevard cruiser. Because getting the control arms out of that thing fucking sucked. I think a week would be sufficient to get everything taken care of before Scottfest.

Might be a good idea to box your rear control arms, like Duce did. Might work well in the flexibility department.

Weld some metal to the open areas of the rear control arms.....box'em.

Thank you for elaborating. I'll have to see what Scott wants to do cause I can't weld worth a shit.

somebody want to get a cake to celebrate any mangs birthdays that will happen during scottfest.
gadget73
08-03-2011, 04:59 PM
the cake is a lie.
I'll bring some cash and we can take a trip to the store to figure out supplies as needed. I'll try and bring some corn up too, but I don't know if I'll be able to get a very large amount. I'm told the local PA corn is also good so if I can't get enough Jersey corn to go around, we can also get some PA corn.
unfortunately I think I'm out of coolers. I had one extra around here someplace, but I know not where it is. if it turns up, I'll bring it.
