Does the machine in question "record". If it is only "Playback" you don't need one - just keep the heads and rollers clean! Bobby

It's the one in the GM CP, the radio is fine but the cassette buzzes & crackles.I don't have a head cleaner any more either.....

Need to look into the issue and see if there are speaker or amp issues. You can get a cassette cleaner anywhere and I would say get one that uses liquid. The "dry" ones are really nasty on the guts! Bobby

Q tip and rubbing alcohol are all you need to clean the head. Dip the Q tip in the alcohol, shake it a bit so its not dripping, then take a swipe across the head. Let it dry and see what you get. Don't put a tape in before it dries though, the tape will stick to the head and get all wound up inside the player mechanism. BTDT.
