    Used 'Stang AOD

They have a mass air Fox 'Stang (should have the oiling mods right?) @ the yard. It was hit in the rear.
The guy @ the yard says he drove it around the lot.....

It is already pulled. They want 275 for it...

I know the shift lever is different, overall dimensions are the same as '87 CV CS right?

    Opinions?

    Worth 275?

IIRC it will shift around 500RPM higher than a stock panther transmission at full-throttle. Might be a bit high for a lopo, but it's saving a step/mod if you're planning on going HO or better.

I will be checking on the ecm as I have the sensor & pigtail for the mass air swap. I can check to see if they have any others...

That sounds like a good deal. Aside from the different shift point, can you get away with a stock Panther AOD with a HO upgrade?

Yes. Lol. Ask Scott, he's running his original transmission.

The only difference between a lopo trans and an HO trans is the governor. Identical innards. The 351 cars got an extra clutch.
