    cold air

    How can i make a cold air intake for my 98 GM, K&N wants almost $500 dollars and that is there set up for an 04 MM so I dont even know if that would fit any suggestions and/or other ways to let my baby breathe a bit easier?

    The stock location is about as cool as you can get.

    I'm able to see my intake air temperature, taken at the MAF, and it reads within 5° of ambient when moving.

    Insulating the airbox may improve the heat soak when idling.

    Anything post-MAF for a Marauder will not work on your car.

      Where did you see it listed for $500? The K&N kit (KNN-57-2544) is $270 from Summit racing.

              It would be hard to find a Marauder at a junkyard.

              They are so rare.

              They can all be purchased through ADTR.

                What is ADTR? And will the MM air box fit my 98?

                  ADTR = http://www.angryducktofuracing.com

                  Yes the MM airbox will fit in a 98. You can get the MM airbox and MAF combo for about $150. You would need a computer tune or chip also, but they are well worth it.
