90k on a well maintained one with clean red fluid, or 90k on one with original fluid thats turning brown? It matters, but probably in the 200-300 range. A good rebuild job will run you around a grand. A poorly maintained trans might be dead by 90k, so unless you can test drive the car or know its history, its a gamble.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
