I like it I never thought the full size rear window looked right on panthers. Thats why I like that my merc has the formal coach roof though the windows not quite as small as in those lincolns.

http://www.grandmarq.net/gallery/mai...g2_itemId=1772 its still less window than most.

i never really liked them custom roofs. i do like the stainless B pillar coach lamp deal. the best looking tops i think, are the vinyl ones on the aero floridian edition town cars. they just have the vinyl on the C pillar area behind the rear doors.

Looks goofy, like a 5th Ave porked a Lincoln and produced this. Dunno, I like the big rear window on Lincolns. Of course, I happen to own one, so its what I'm used to. I can tell you that after driving mine for all these years, I notice when I drive a car that has the coach roof and the smaller window. its not a huge difference, but there is something of a loss of rear visibility. One of these with the letterbox rear glass would be annoying to drive I think.

Interesting I have the small window in the back but in reality it's not that's it's small but rather the rest of the window is covered by a plastic molding of sorts . Also I was wondering what the car would look like if I blanked out the panel window I'm glad I didn't oh and I've seen a townie without the side lights before too
89 townie, mild exhuast up grades, soon to have loud ass stereo....

the main cosmetic issue is the almost-upright rear end clashing with the totally upright rear window. I think you either need a 30+ degree angle on the rear fascia or just as vertical as the rear window.
