85' honda atc 70

So i got a new toy. There are a bunch of guys around hear that race these things, (flat dirt/clay track). Ive had one before but it was just a toy. Im gonna turn this one into a race bike. Its bone stock right now. First thing to come will be an 88cc big bore kit, race head, hot cam, bigger intake manifold, 20mm carb, bigger exhaust and a hotter cdi with a higher rev limiter. It may get a stroker later if its not competitive with the
88cc set up. Stock it has about 2 horsepower, with the 88cc combo im putting together it should be around 8.5 horsepower, so it should be fun.

Specs say dry weight is 163lbs. Soooo with me on it 445lbs. I need to diet lol.

what kinda transmission? I think i see a shifter down there...

4 speed auto all up. 85 was the only year for the up 4 speed. 84 got an all down 4 speed. Then anything older than that had an all down 3 speed. They sell manual clutch conversions and HD auto clutch packs as well.
