'82 Grand Marquis Passenger Tail-light Lens Wanted

As the title states, I'm a proud owner of a 1982 Mercury cat. Save for some rust, she's in pretty fine shape. Except for a broken passenger side tail-light lens. Any ideas where I might score one? I've tried local salvage yards to no avail. Would it be cost-prohibitive on a $400.00 car? Any input would be very welcome!

welcome! sounds like a nice car.

You may want to start a want-ad in our WTB section.

You can also ask for one in the "free with donation" thread at the top of the Off Topic Bullshit section. The only cost would be a 5 dollar donation to the site plus whatever shipping costs, so probably about 20 bucks or less. This would, of course, probably not net a perfect one.

160KMs 600cfm holley, shorty headers, 2.5" catted exhaust, 255/295 tires, cop shocks, cop swaybars, underdrive pulley, 2.73L gears.
waiting for install: 3.27's, Poly bushings, boxed rear arms, 2500 stall converter, ported e7's, etc

Thank you for the advice! I think I'll try that donation thing. It's not a perfect car anyways. (just my favorite!)

if you can find an '83-'87 in the yard those taillights will bolt up and look better IMHO.

I have a NOS 79-82 Right side tail light lens only with the attaching tape. Still in the Ford box. Part # D9MY-13450A. PM me if interested. I bought it from Ford for my 82 Merc GM which is stuck in Ca.

they dont bolt up directly. you have to modify them to work. the tail pannel is different.

honestly the 79-82 tail lights were ugly. 83 up were so much nicer.
