    harvesting wide ratio aod parts

    Did MK VIIIs come w/wide ratio AODs?

    What cars can suitable 4R70Ws be pulled from?

    Do they have the 2" OD bands, or must that come from the AODE?

        The inner guts are more or less the same between all of the 4r70w. You'll be needing a different AOD case though. a 90+ case with the different forward drum or something, not sure what. Mark VIIIs had 4r70w.

                  look up click click racing, they have a very large amount of data on the whole swappage thing. i was thinking abotu it, but i like the close ratio better, so v6 aode with a manual vb in it should be fairly nasty. pretty much what alot of aod guys are trying to achieve with alot of modifycation. also the converter makes a big difference too.
                  89 townie, mild exhuast up grades, soon to have loud ass stereo....
