hi guys, i have a 98 grand marquis stock.
the problem i have is that the fan does not turn on when the car reaches high temperature which caused the engine to overheat.
so this is how is happening:
when car reaches temperature the fan wont start
when i turn the ac on, the high speed turns fine
if i disconnect the coolant temperature sensor, while the car is turned on with a little more than regular temp, the fan turns on.
i checked for clogs on piping everything is fine, has plenty of coolant.
so what is the procedure i will need to do to find the problem.
how do i check hi-low speed or any other relay involved? do i check grounds somewhere, do i check the computer?
thanks guys.
