2001 Buick Regal LS

Got my new to me car the other day. 01 Buick Regal LS with a 3800 Series II motor, naturally aspirated. Has the concert sound system and Grand Touring suspension, which I think only consists of a bigger rear sway bar and a badge on the dashboard


It needs a little bit of work; control arm bushing, outer tie rod end, rear lateral link & wheel bearing. I can take the lateral link from my old Grand Prix and I've got good winter tires + alloys on that already, so I'm just gonna use the GP wheels/tires for winters and the Buick ones for summers.

Nope! It was pretty well cared for. Surface rust but no holes. Needs a little bit of bodywork, again, surface bubbles but no holes.


Only got 162k kilometers. Not bad for a 12 year old car.

Only real issue there is the intake gaskets. They are pretty solid cars. The 3800 makes nice torque and will get you almost 30 mpg on the highway.

thanks. the plastic intakes like to fail too, around the EGR/coolant passages, melty goodness. Dorman make an updated manifold w/ gaskets etc for like a hundred bucks.

Gonna grab one of those and some lower intake gaskets/valve cover gaskets and spark plugs/wires and call it good for another few years

nothing fancy except for the Buick 6 turbo sticker. It might not have a turbo, but it's still a Buick 6 and it's a cool damn logo.

The sticker adds more power than a real turbro could ever add
