Is Sea Foam really that good? Has anyone of you used it? I like Lucas injector cleane
I've used both. I don't really have a preference for either one.
I've used Sea Foam in the vacuum line and it creates a fun smoke show. (Wall of smoke). I'm not sure if it really does anything though or that's just the Sea Foam burning off.
I've used Lucas in my gas and I actually did feel like the car ran a little smoother while I used that tank of gas. The next tank of gas the car was back to normal.
There's a generic equivalent at most parts stores, Berryman B-10 or something like that. MUCH cheaper.

Berryman is cheaper. Not sure about the "equivalent statement". Believe Berryman has methyl alcohol, I "think" Seafoam uses petroleum distillates but not trying to start an argument. I have used both in an attempt to clean sticking injectors on a Maxima. It took multiple extremely high doses over 6 months time to notice any improvement. Car was a 1999 SE with 200K on it and I probably should have just replaced the injector/s but didn't want to spend the money b/c the daughter was wanting a newer car.
You are right, I withdraw the equivalent statement. It does seem to clean the 03 intake though and I'm waaaaay too cheap for Seafoam.
