                That was what I was thinking...I remember the M and Z from when I bought the Mustang in '90. The 3.08 was a factory option but did not appear on the window sticker...you had to look at the door tag (or crawl under the car and look at the carrier tag).

                        The codes are for passenger cars, i dotn think 3.73s were installed in cars, just trucks.

                              A few box 5.0 cop cars came with 3.73 IIRC


                              At any rate here is a more inclusive list.
