For all my fellow Tudor box owners............can you tell me if the drivers door ash tray cover comes out with the actual ash tray itself, or does one have to replace the entire window switch plate assembly?

The tiny hinge for the ash tray lid is broken, and the lid flops all over the place when the door is opened or closed.

Yes I could duct tape it closed, but that would be sacrilegious as you all well know!

Btw, overnight temps here in NYC...................20 degrees:-(

I always cut the springs on the ash tray lid. There almost always broken, and I never use them, and I'd rather they lay flat then spring up all the time.
