    Rattlin' noise under [assenger dash

    Ok,

So I noticed on my 97 Townie, that on cold mornings, I would hear a tapping/rattlin' noise coming from under the dash, behind the airbag on the passenger side. It would go away (mostly) when the car got warmer.

Any idea what the heck this could be?
What could come loose back there?

I'm going to be a little flippant about it and say (as someone who's owned a Panther for going on eight years straight) it's the price of admission for owning a body-on-frame vehicle.

does it change with blower speed? Might be the fan itself.

no, it's totally independent of the fan, it literally sounds like something came loose and is like hanging on by a screw
