    My new '84

I just scored this 1894 Grand Marquis GS yesterday from right down the street from me. I used to see it all the time driving home, then it was gone for almost a year. About a week ago i saw it again, so i tracked down the owner and talked him into selling it to me. I talked him into letting go of it for only $800. Now that i have a Grand Marquis again i decided to make an account and post, i used to just be a frequent visitor to the forum.

The guy i bought it from has put over $4,300 into it in the last three years, and he has reciepts for everything. It came with really nice wheels, new tires, a set of mounted snow tires, a new cd player and speakers. It has 203,000 miles but everything is in great shape, no rust, engine & transmission run smoothly. I had to get rid of my other '84 Grand Marquis about a year ago and now finally could get another.

Here are some pics, needs a good wash.

                      Looks good!

I'm all for whitewalls, but they look out of place on those wheels. I would ditch them or at least have them turned around so it's all black on the outside.

The white walls do look a little wierd now that you all mention it, unfortunately i spent all my money on the car so i couldn't afford other ones. Plus the tires were new in april and only have 3K miles on them. Now im trying to clear enough room in my garage to fit a car of its size, its under about a foot of snow now, its sad

You don't have to get new tires, just have them turned around. Put the whites on the inside.
