    An Introduction.

Hello to all, my name is Jim, and I live in Hamilton Ohio. I had planned to join this forum about a month ago, but had never got around to it.

Well here I am! I am a member of several forums, and a moderator of the '72-'76 Thunderbird section over at the Thunderbird Registry Forums.

I own a 1991 Crown Victoria LTD. It is extremely nice, with unknown milege on the body, but less than 20k on the newly removed/rebuilt/reinstalled 5.0. It is my second car, and I just had true duals with glasspacks put on about a week ago. It sounds great!

These pictures were taken right after I bought her.

You can take the man out of the Crown Vic, but you can't take the Crown Vic out of the man.

Yeah, I'm real happy with it. My "first car," if you could call it that, was a '79 Thunderbird. I test drove the '91 CV and it reminded me of the Thunderbird...and I was intantly in love.

Future plans include a new head unit with some free speakers, courtesy of my uncle, and if I come into some money, wheels from a newer Mustang or Crown Vic.

                  Looks very nice!

Go aftermarket wheels, there are plenty out there, the stock dimentions for our cars are 4.5" bolt patter, your wheels are 7" wide, with 3-3/4" backspacing. I'm currently running 8.5" wide wheels with 3-3/4" backspacing on all 4, and I could have gone to 4.25" backspacing on all 4.

My only setback is the funds needed to do exactly what I would like to with the car. Being 17 makes getting a high-paying job kind of difficult.

I worked for around 6 months at a local Taco Bell, and that wasn't working out...so I'm still seeking new employment. As soon as the funds start rolling back in, I can go back to concentrating on the '91.

I understand, it took me 6 years to get the wheels I have now. I got my desire to have them in 10th grade. And after 6 years of wanting, and 3 years of shopping, I finally got them this past summer. I got them for a steal! $130 for the set. It's all about making every dollar count, and stretching the mile.
