    '87 Cougar - blower motor/locks

The blower motor squeaks. Is there a way to get to it to spray some lube in there?

Door locks acting up. Drivers' door lock will sometimes go down, but when I unlock the doors, the drivers' side lock motor just vibrates loudly. Any thoughts?

The tiny balls in the end of the lock actuator that make the rod move are either missing or the clip that holds the rod into the lock mechanism is busted.

Never worked on a fox body car, so no idea about the blower.

some times after a long summer with out using the blower motor the corrosion builds up in side it.. if this is the case the sound will go away with use. If it dosen't, you can remove the blower motor and take it apart to lube up the inside. but if you go that far you might as well replace it. A new one from advance auto starts at $23.97

As far as the door lock actuators go, when you unlock the doors, if sound you hear from the drivers' side lock motor sounds like a rockem sockem robot gettin its head poped off then the actuator is going bad...
