    03-up frame swap

    I will eventually do it

I was looking on car-part.com and they are actually pretty cheap! I could get a complete 03-up frame for about a grand...

This is the mods i'd perform:

    -Road race suspension
    -Wilwood Marauder Brakes
-Flaming River Manual Rack & Pinion

    Among other shit....

    What does everyone think?

Someone on CVU was going to do it, forget who though. I always thought it would be a great idea, and was in the future plans of the Vic.

2 door with an 03+ frame and a V10 would be cool.

A Ford 427 V10 would go nicely in the Vic, but... how about we get down to earth.

A swap me an my father have talked ages about doing. A 460 EFI engine can push you back in the seat of an F350, imagine what it would do in a Panther. The reality part is that it is a common motor in larger vans and trucks. Making it afordable to obtain. Dimensionaly it will fit. And even stock lower end it would likely match or even beat Duce's strait line performance. The 460 EFI is one hell of a motor, the carbed is a pig, but the EFI rocks.

I have all sorts of thoughts.

For now, a carb'd BUSCH 358 will do nicely...

I've got a 89 F250 4x4 sitting in my driveway. The cab is completely rotted away. It has a EFI 460/5spd in it. Anyone want to give me a Panther(preferably a 2dr ) to swap the engine into?
