    Rear Defroster tab question

One of those tabs is off in my 2000 P71. Still connected to the plug, so at least it's not lost somewhere.

What is your preferred method for re-attaching a tab ?

Would rearview mirror adhesive be a good fix ?

If anyone knows, what was used originally at the factory ?

    Thanks.

It would need to be some sort of conductive adhesive. Mirror glue would stick it on there, but it almost surely would not function. They do make specific things just for this. Auto parts store might have it, Amazon does if not.

etc. No experience but it should be fairly simple as long as you have the proper sticky stuff.

      Thanks!

Yeah, I wasn't thinking about the thin layer of adhesive interrupting the contact if it's not conductive adhesive. Need better rest tonight than I had last night. Those late NFL games will catch up to you. LOL
