    Newbie Introduction

    Hi my name is Road_Kill, I live in Phoenix, Az and I'm new to the website. After buying my Grand Marquis I decided to look on the net to find out information on my car.

    After checking out this site I found that you guys are pretty knowlagable on these types of cars. I proudly own a 1977 Grand Marquis Coupe 460. I bought it for $500 about a week ago from my grandpa in Colorado and i think i got a great deal on it because those two doors are pretty rare. It has 122,000 miles, runs good, and the interior looks new. It is nearly rust free. I would just like to know the value on this car. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading.

      Sounds like a nice car!

      I almost bought a 77 coupe with a 460 awhile back...

        We had a 76 Marquis coupe with a 460. Dove grey with maroon or dark red interior. That thing was a beast, moved like nobody's business too.

          The market value isn't all that high for the cars but wait a few more years and they will rise. They are classics and you did score a killer deal, welcome I hope we can answer any question you may have. We have a couple hundred years of combined experience

                  Id pay a grand for it no prob, maybe two if its in real good shape. Possibly more if its had a lot of the things replaced that would need to be after almost 40 years.
