If you're going to have it apart for several weeks..... maybe coat your cylinder walls and tops of the pistons with oil. :slug:

:bump:Well i started along and got to the the last bolt on the egr spacer with i managed to round off, so now i have to go to napa and get the reverse sockets and get it stripped off, just one of the many bumps in the road i plan on getting myself into, for the throttle body, how to you disconnect it from the car, i have everything on it taken apart and its layin in the engine bay but i can slide the round part inside of it out to get the actual throttle body off. Thanks for the suggestions it will make this go a lot smoother, once i get the upper intake off im going to start taking pictures to post here.

i realize the bigger bore tb will bring more air in, but on a stock 5.0 what gains could one expect by boring the tb from 50 to 63mm? would it affect the low end any?

              hmm

are you working on it inside the car or did you pull the engine?
