Man that is NICE!!!!!!! They look great on a box. I still remember the days when you had that one merc with the mud tires on it. :D

I wish I had still had the one with mud tires. SO much faster and handle infinitly better. Like a sports car. Thanx for the compliments.

NOOO!!! No, no, and again no! You have sporty rims and your car looks awesome like that, loweirng the rear will just ruin nice looks. Especially if you have bigger tires in the back.

Lower the whole car...looks like a 4wd now. Wheels look great though!

Thats a bad pic. It doesnt sit high in the front at all . The back is way high. Need to drop it like 1 inch MAX.

Southern_Pride

I like the look of tires with some side wall to them. The low profile tires just look strange to me on the boxes.

Holy shit what a rake! They look awesome, man. That's one sweet Merc...nice pics too!

12-26-2005, 01:31 PM
Good god those are some huge rear tires. Something like a 255/50 all the way around would have been my choice.
those are 3" TALLER than stock! 30" vs. 27"
Blaze86Vic
12-26-2005, 01:50 PM
I think he had 31s on it before...
85crownHPP
12-26-2005, 01:52 PM
damn those are huge!
Ida picked someting half way between that and whats on the front.
But if thats the look you're goin for, you have a nice wheel to do it on.
Is the back jacked up from air shocks or springs? If its air shock, Id let em down a bit - it would look good with the tire just barely tucked into the fender well, and you'd still have a nice rake
Southern_Pride
12-26-2005, 03:38 PM
All spring. My airshocks are blown. Need to make something to lower it.

Looks great! It would look even better if there were some dual chrome pipes sticking out of the back.

With the huge tires and rake, put some side exits with big Meg's tips...
Southern_Pride
12-26-2005, 06:42 PM
No side exits. Its a 4 door. My next mod is exhaust. Dual 2 1/2 inch pipes w/ moroso spiral flows probably. Maybe magnapacks or glasspacks though.

Dude, fuck all these no-gos. That shit is awesome! The rake is the shit! I think I'm going to air up the TC rear air shocks to get a nice Rrake! :D

11-30-2006, 05:49 PM
That is close to the route I was going to go on my ma's CV, except I got what I got. If I knew what I was doing, I would of run 225 55R17 in the rear and lowered the car 1-1/4" in the front and 1" in the rear. Good job!!!!!
Southern_Pride
11-30-2006, 09:38 PM
Holy thread digging. This thing looks far from that now. Doesnt look close to the same. Almost, almost wish I kept it that way. Hard to arque with its current performance now except the braking.

I keep getting these white boxes with red squares in the middle. If I point to it and right click I only get a few options, none of which open that file up.
