    Factory No A/C Panther?

    Do they exist??

If so, I am curious as to what they look like under the hood.

Looking at Black & Flames' setup makes me wanna hack out my A/C box, for more room and cleanliness...

they do, but rare, the 79-82 meteor and marquis was the one with the options, but a huge majority had A/C in em, but those meteors are rare, ive seen polar bears ride tricycles in my life time but, no meteors!

It's was an option on all cars. That why the owners manual has provisions for climate controle panel without AC, with AC, and with ACC AC.

I just wanna see what the firewall on a non-A/C car looks like...

I wanna hack that A/C box out, since it is cluttering up my firewall, and doesn't do shit.

i think www.mercuryarchive.com has some meteors...but you should be able to take the box out and jus hack away the plastic for the evap core, jus it might be a lil interestin to pull the whole thing out

best pic i have of mine right now. I sealed the inside already, i just need to get some fire barrier caulk for the engine side. also you want to use either .030" aluminum or .020' steel in order to pass tech for any sanctioning body, NHRA, IHRA, SCCA, NASA.

I've never heard of a box without A/C either, but I guess most people just said yea, I'll take it.

The meteor was the name of a popular type of horse drawn carriage many ages ago. The inventors soon found, however, that the meteor carriages were robbed more often than other carriages. They solved this problem by changing the name to "pinto". The carriages were never robbed again.

Ah, of course it would be in your brochure, being from Canada and it being a Canadian only model.

I'll have to find a couple of those Canadian brochures.
