1. are the lincoln turbines (as pictured below) the same width as regular turbines?

2. if so, what is the widest tire a turbine will accept?

3. are there caps with the ford emblem made for those turbines or will a normal ford cap fit?

All the same size, caps are interchangable, technicaly the widest tire within maufacturer specs is like a 225/60 I think. Lower profile the closer to the wheel width that it has to be, higher profile the more room you have to play with.

They look slightly different to me. As far as width. Ive put 14 inch wide tires on em before.

Those are lace turbines. Lincoln-specific I believe, tho you can get the same turbines that came on Fords and Mercs on Lincolns. Those take a different smaller center cap too. Same width as the regulars tho.

yah, according to Epi (has run the regular looking lincoln turbines on SQ), the lincoln turbines use a different cap and wont fit the vic/gm ones.
When I was shopping for tires i saw that Cooper reccomends no bigger than 235/60 or 255/70 on a 6.5" wide wheel. Id guess that means a 245/65 will work - thats what I would have gotten, but they dont have that size in a cooper cobra.

lacy spoke wheels have smaller caps........otherwise they fit the same........6.5" wide iirc

The metal part of the lacy-spoked hubcaps is smaller than that of the regular turbine, but the emblem part will most likely interchange - I got a pair of lacy-spoked hubcaps, and as thy wouldn't fit my regulra turbines I just swapped the emblems. As for tires, 255/60s don't look bad at all, and they don't bulge much either. Good luck getting them balanced though...
