I have big 350 watt max 100rms speakers in the back, stock in the front doors, and 90W new ones in the dash, all run by a kenwood deck 180W through the stock amp. How do I stop this hissing, is a new amp the best alternative?

You could try swapping a junkyard amp - who knows what the problem is. Id get rid of the factory everything, an get an aftermarket amp

Actually your stereo probably puts out more power than the stock amp does. You're likely overdriving it. I know the stock Ford radios don't put out nearly the power that HU does at any rate. I'd bypass it and see how you like the sound.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
