    PI intake finally installed.

Finally got the PI intake installed, to compliment the PI cams.

Installing the new coolant tube was the major PITA.

Apparently, I already had the PI nipple from when the revised NPI intake was installed. I went ahead and replaced it with a new one.

I also installed the 2003 "zip tube" to compliment the 2003 GT valve covers.

Since it is a little cool outside, I plan to wait a few days before taking a spin. I want to give the RTV plenty of time to dry.

Of course, Mother Nature is doing her part and providing rain for the next couple of days so there is no chance of experiencing the swap's benefits.

Up next is an engine detail session.

As a result of the swap, I am selling my like-new NPI intake (with aluminum coolant crossover) and a brand new, unused PI alternator bracket.

Please send me a PM for details and pics.

    Thanks for looking.

Looks like it was a heck of a project, but I'm sure it will be worth it...

I'll be looking forward to your 'test drive review'....

Actually, it wasn't that bad. There were 5 of us and we spent more time talking than working. The only real PITA was trying to get the new coolant tube into place.

Oh, and the plastic "nut" that allows you to drain coolant from the radiator snapped off. :drug:

As will I. Right now, we are getting light snow so it looks like it will be until Sunday before the roads are completely dry.

Actually, it is dirty right now. My friends on the Mustang forum, who helped me with the swap, were joking that they found dirt on my car.

I found that pic online. However she reminds me of some of the female traffic police I saw in China. I have a picture around here of a particularly striking one.

It would be a good race. Supposedly, LM.net is having a 2V 4.6L shootout soon. We could line 'em up then.

Hope you can make it to the meet on March 4th.

Thanks. I plan to clean it up proper this week.

Drove the Vic about 300 miles yesterday on a weekend trip. After the drive, I definatley recommend the PI cam and intake swap.
